Description:
Freelance Project Surveyor will be:
• The field envoy for the Thomson Reuters Projects (TRP) team in UAE. Obtains information about ongoing and upcoming projects taking place within the construction and related industries in assigned territory in order to enhance the sourcing of construction related content.
Role Responsibilities:
• Survey the projects thoroughly in the assigned territory by conducting structured field visits
• Conduct clear photography of project sign boards and recording of projects details and send them via the dedicated app to the TRP content team.
• Provide any of the relevant contact details that will assist content team acquire information
• Procurement Manger, Construction Manager, Site Manager, Project Manager
• Obtain when possible the contact details of key personnel involved in each project such as project managers, site engineers, procurement managers, document controllers etc
• Whenever possible, obtain detailed project information including start date, completion date, main companies involved, estimated project value, detailed scope, key contacts and any other relevant updates and send them to the TRP team via app or email.
Requirements
• Familiar with the geographical area and the cities within the country of jurisdiction.
• Motorized and willing to travel extensively within the assigned country.
• Tech savvy with a good working knowledge of handheld devices and mobile apps.
• Basic familiarity with projects and players within the construction industry is a huge advantage.
• Fluency in English required, and proficiency in Arabic language is an advantage.
• Ability to drive results and provide clear, accurate and reliable information on every project and territory
