The Canvas Dubai Hotel, MGallery by Sofitel is looking for her/his

FRONT OFFICE MANAGER

Objective

To bring your previous managerial experience to our Front Office Department to ensure a high quality, consistent and personalized experience for all our guests and patrons of the Hotel, and coordination with all other departments of the hotel thereby contributing to and supporting the reputation of our hotel.

Job Responsibilities

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

- To consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- To ensure proper staffing and scheduling of all Front Office colleagues in accordance to productivity guidelines
- To communicate through pre-shift logs, emails and departmental meetings all pertinent information for the respective shift and areas of operation
- To train supervisors and fulfill training role in the absence of the trainer
- To assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- To follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability of motivating your team to meet customer expectations with consistency and without compromise.
- Having previous Accor working experience will be added advantage.

Qualifications:

We are looking for an energetic and creative candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to influence the front office team and work in a dynamic environment. In addition, the candidate should possess

- Previous leadership experience required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset
- University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
- Must possess a professional presentation
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
