General Accountant

Job description / Role

In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and digitalizing day to day accounting transactions, spearheading the implementation and customization of new methodologies to automating data management, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation with good experience at using Dynamics 365 for Finance.

Duties:

* Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable
* Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
* Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
* Ensure compliance with GAAP principles

Requirements

Requirements:

* 3+ Years of work experience
* Good Understanding of GAAP
* Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
* Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables
* Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Microsoft Dynamics
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (ACCA / MBA Finance certifications)
