General Maintenance Supervisor

Job description / Role

What you will be doing:
- Provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Hotel Standards of Performance.
- Have a full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned discipline at given Place of Work
- Be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub departments of the Engineering Division.
- Perform all duties and tasks when rotated or assigned to another Department as per established standards for that Department.
- Be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel.
- Check wastage and ensure optimum usage of material in the operation.
- Observe and report energy wastage in any area of the hotel.
- Be demanding and critical when it comes to departmental standards.

Requirements

Qualifications
- Your experience and skills include:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical engineering.
- 4 years of experience in a similar field, Hotel experience is preferred.
- Practical and theoretical skills in various mechanical, Electrical and plumbing systems associated with hotel industries
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) for reporting and documentation
- Languages: Fluent in English.
