Job description / Role
The Vartan Aviation Group provides a broad range of services to all major aircraft manufacturers, aviation suppliers, MROs and airlines around the world. We are active in the fields of on site product support, maintenance and production support, primarily for cabin interior, aircraft systems and aerostructures. Vartan teams are based at final assembly lines of Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Comac and Embraer. Beyond that, we are ready to support our customers around the world – anywhere at any time. We are currently located in Hamburg, Seattle, Everett, North Charleston, Mobile, Abu Dhabi, Tianjin, Toulouse and Montreal.
We are recruiting for a General Manager Middle East for our entity based in Abu Dhabi.

General Manager in Abu Dhabi/Middle East
Key responsibilities:
• Business development
• Lead, supervise and organize the following departments: Production, Maintenance, Sales, Administration and Controlling (operational/financial)
• Continuous process improvement in all business areas
• Cooperation with all shareholders
• Oversee, administrate and manage payments
• Cost effectiveness and strategic business planning
• Liaise with potential customers and other third parties
• Responsible for publicity, marketing and human resources
• Reporting to the executive board on a regular basis
• Accountable Manager for the local maintenance approval
Requirements
• Business professional with several years of senior management level experience within aviation, preferably in cabin interiors (commercial and business jet)
• Experience with Aviation Authorities
• Excellent leadership, people management and networking skills
• Well-known and respected reputation within Aviation
• Open-minded character ready to expand personal horizon in a new cultural environment
• High cross-cultural competence with the ability to work in different cultural settings (preferably familiar with the culture of middle east)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English (French and/or German is a plus)
• Willingness to travel in Middle East
