General Manager

Job description / Role

The Sales / General Manager is responsible for selling controls parts, repairs, and services for new and existing customers in assigned geographic area/countries in the Power, O&G and Industrial markets.

Job Description

• Work closely with the company’s global network.
• Develop new business opportunities with existing and new customers. Develop sales funnel to sustain business growth.
• Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan and attend customer meetings.
• Sales negotiation and deal closure with the customer. Interface with key buying influencers such as agent, reseller, and end-user.
• Service and parts sales while defining with the business manager a pricing strategy to maximize profit.
• Develop and maintain product and industry knowledge.
• Achieve orders, revenues and profit targets for quarter and year.
• Increase customer satisfaction while supporting their installed base with professional service and quality products.
• Execute sales campaign with a clear country/account plan in order to maximize market penetration.
• Scout available products/parts to purchase and coordinate with business manager for a successful acquisition of the surplus assets.
• Actively plan and manage the sales process and funnel through the company’s CRM.
• Oversee / lead / manage the repair facility to ensure quality, productivity, and growth.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree

• Minimum of 7 – 15 years of work experience in the sales function preferably in the controls and automation industry or
related ones with exposure to the Middle East region.
• Good customer focus with key experiences in managing direct and indirect sales channels.
• Excellent listener and team player and is able to work in a multicultural environment.
• Solid integrity with a passion to win with sense of urgency.
• Excellent English, communication and presentation skills.
