Job description / Role
Charterhouse has an exclusive mandate to secure an outstanding General Manager for a leading FF&E business in Dubai. This role requires someone who has extremely strong business acumen, the ability to lead a team to achieve financial goals and strong experience in the FF&E industry.
To be successful in this role you will need to be a strong leader, someone who can motivate and further develop a team to achieve results as well as have a strong entrepreneurial flair with an assertive and driven personality. You will have overall operational responsibility for the business supporting Managers to ensure projects are delivered successfully, overseeing finance, reviewing marketing, implementing new business ideas as well as representing the business in new tenders and projects.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have 10 - 12 years’ experience in a similar role, be Degree educated with experience working in the UAE. You should be someone that has worked within FF&E throughout your career, ideally you will have been involved in all aspects of FF&E and be able to drive a business forward through your own experience. Arabic language skills would be a distinct advantage but is not a must and ideally this role would suit a male candidate due to potential travel.
