General Manager - Fit Out/Joinery

Job description / Role

Duties:

• The General Manager will be responsible for leading the current management team and delivering the company's future plans in line with the vision of the Group.
• The GM will suggest a long-term growth strategy and present to the management current, short term, and long-term business plans.
• To deliver on increasing Sales, Brand Equity and customer loyalty within the UAE and look at expanding into any potential markets outside the UAE.
• To manage resources in an optimum manner and motivate the team to achieve and exceed set goals.
• To scale up the operations in line with planned growth by adopting best practices and leveraging technology.
• To be accountable for Strategic Development, Planning and Implementation, Business Development, Operational Excellence and Information, Communication and Technology (ICT)

Salary:
AED 60,000 to 70,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Candidate requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of the local UAE/GCC Joinery and Fit Out Sector.
• An in depth understanding of macro and micro economic issues and the business environment affecting the sector.
• Knowledge and experience of effectively sourcing direct and indirect material and resources required to optimize cost and sustain quality.
• Min 15 year's experience in the Joinery/Fit out/Interior decoration sector, ideally haven risen through the ranks gaining exposure to all operational areas.
• Ideally a minimum of 5 years spent in the role of General Manager/Business Head with a proven track record of having achieved unprecedent growth and productivity/profitability.
