General Manager - Readymix

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee our Readymix operations in UAE-Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth in the Readymix sector.
- Oversee all aspects of the Readymix operations, including production, quality control, logistics, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, as well as health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance management to achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and control costs to optimize profitability.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements to make informed business decisions.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role in the Readymix or construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Readymix operations, including production processes, quality standards, and supply chain management.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, health, safety, and environmental practices in the construction materials industry.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans, and make data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. A master's degree or MBA would be a plus.
- Relevant professional certifications or memberships in industry associations would be an advantage.
