Job description / Role
Objectives: To have technical knowledge and troubleshooting of heavy machinery for both Perkins and Non Perkins Engines.
Reporting to: Divisional Service Manager
Main responsibilities:
• Rapid Response technician to assist operations around UAE with needed onsite and offsite.
• Complete Generator Maintenance, Service Support, and Troubleshooting that Related to technical assistance.
• Conduct Service repairs and support AMC contracts independently per assigned fleet of equipment.
• Submit monthly reports on Jobs attended, Worked hours vs Allotted hours per job, Number of customer inquiries generated.
• Follow up with the supervisor and Liaise with all end users, OEMD’s and the OEM’s across the country.
• Generate population data information, conduct information gathering that would lead to additional service quotations/order conversion/work generation for the workshop.
Requirements
• 3-5 Years technical experience working at Machinery division.
• I.T.I/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Good communication skills, strong personality with self-confidence person.
• Highly motivated and team player candidate.
• Good knowledge on usage of MS office/basic IT tools for information & data management.

Kanoo Shipping is one of the founders of S5 Agency World Ltd. and was the first Arab shipping agency in the region in 1911. At present, Kanoo Shipping operates in 20 countries and in all principal ports and offshore tanker loading terminals around the Arabian Peninsula, including Iraq. It handles 11,000 port calls every year which covers all ports in the Suez to India range.
The historic rise of Kanoo Travel has proven similarly impressive. The group's interest in travel started in 1937 when the company used to provide refueling facilities for Imperial Airline sea-planes en route to India and Australia.
