Summary:

The Global Sales Specialist, Growth Markets & Business Development will support the Growth Markets & Business Development teams with sales lead development opportunities, customer service requests and support the pipeline of new business and repeat business. The role is a central support for the Growth Markets & Business Development team during the RFP process, Audit Process, customer events and other Segment related tasks and projects.

This role will support the building of long term, value based customer relationships that enable achievement of a number of key performance indicators and objectives. As guided by the Director, Growth Markets, this role will design and execute relevant key account campaigns and customer events as well as help with customer product trainings. This role will also work closely with the RVP Global Sales to regularly provide pulse checks on segment success metrics, collecting data and updates from all segment team members and relevant Sales and Reporting systems.

This role also requires outstanding task management skills, experience in Marketing and passion for Sales.

This is a key position of Hyatt Sales Force EAME and will interact closely with the global HSF counterparts as well as hotel-based Sales colleagues worldwide.

Key Roles and Priorities:

- A proven track record in a similar Sales Coordinator or Group Reservations role with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue.
- Generate and develop sales leads and contact potential clients to build business relationships.
- To be highly motivated and pro-active; able to act with integrity, professionalism and positivity in all employee interactions.
- Exceptional administration and organisation skills with great attention to detail combined with a natural ability and passion for sales.
- Providing Technical Support and Consultation
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems (Envision/Lanyon/Cognos/360) and processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with customers.
- High level of IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets.
- Excellent organisational and administration skills.
- Applies knowledge/judgment to achieve business goals.
- Foresees, identifies and resolves problems.
- Keeps up-to-date technically and applies new knowledge to job.
- Performs other reasonable duties as required for this position.
- Supports the Sales team with production report as well as QBR templates.

- Builds and maintain close relationships with HSF counterparts globally

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Excellent in English, both written and spoken
- Familiar with basic Microsoft Office programs (Excel/Word)
- Willing to learn and master various company specific programs and systems
- A self motivator willing to support a proactive, top line generating sales team
- Open to project management
- Able to prioritize and manage time
- Minimum 2 years in Office based administrative role

About the Company

Hyatt was founded by Jay Pritzker in 1957 when he purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport. Over the following decade, Jay Pritzker and his brother, Donald Pritzker, working together with other Pritzker family business interests, grew the company into a North American management and hotel ownership company, which became a public company in 1962.
