Job description / Role
Taaleem currently has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced public relations officer to join our busy central office function supporting our schools. We currently have ten schools across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, so the individual in this position will need to provide support to all within the group. This role is heavily focused on compliance and ensuring that our schools are in line with all government entities guidelines - for example Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA)
You will split your time between our entities, as well as working closely with the executive team in Central Office to ensure that all changes to laws and guidelines are communicated in a swift and efficient manner.
Requirements
• A suitable candidate will have more than four years experience in a PRO or government relations position.
• Bachelors degree in a relevant subject
• Experience liaising with government authorities in Dubai
• Fluent Arabic and English speaker, with excellent communication skills
