Graphic Artist

Job description / Role

We are looking for a Graphic Artist who can bring their creative eye and talents to help prepare display designs for retail stores and source cost effective suppliers to ensure the effective implementation of the designs.

Key Responsibilities
• Receive the specifications and dimensions of the stores and suggest designs based on requirements of the Visual Merchandising team
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings specifying colour scheme, make/ model of fixtures, quality of material to be used, its placement plan etc., and submit for the approval of the Visual Merchandising Manager
• Identify and source suppliers for the display materials, negotiate favorable rates and maintain an updated list of preferred suppliers along with the price lists for reference by the VM team
• Update and maintain the VM display manual to assist in the production of all the VM materials required for all the stores and location
• Communicate the official VM guidelines to the suppliers to ensure the standards are maintained
• Ensure the display designs are adhered at the time of installations and the suppliers are able to deliver the materials on time to the site
• Maintain necessary documentation system for efficient and orderly storage and retrieval of documents/information. Maintain and update all necessary records, files and database

Requirements

• Graduate or Diploma in design management
• 1 to 2 years of rendering experience

Functional Skills
• Knowledge of Auto CAD Operation, and preparing computerized drawing
• Knowledge of operating computer software like MS Office , Cinema 4D, Corel Draw , 3D Studio Max
