Graphic Design & Social Media Supervisor

Job description / Role

We are currently in the process of recruiting a Graphic Design & Social Media Supervisor for one of our esteemed clients – A very well-known international creative media college based in Dubai.

The Graphic Design & Social Media Specialist/Supervisor will be responsible for the generation of content & concept, design & layout, and managing social media platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Comprehension of objectives of each design task
• Plans concept by studying briefs
• Illustrates concept by designing rough layout for approval
• Completes projects by coordinating with staff as well as related external service providers
• Estimating a realistic timeline to complete design tasks
• Generation & curation of content for social media
• Managing social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube etc.)
• Involved in the planning and execution of events (design and marketing perspective)
• Planning and execution of photography/ videography coverage of events
• Weekly reporting on social media platform performance
• Web design and managing the website
• Designing for e-mail signatures, banners, events, physical graphic design etc.
• Designing marketing material (ads, brochures, roll ups etc.) to branding specifications
• Maintains technical knowledge and keeps up-to-date with design skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Design or a closely related field
• Must have a portfolio to showcase
• Good organization skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
