Job description / Role
In collaboration with the marketing team, the graphic designer will create innovative and compelling design solutions across all touchpoints that reflect an expert understanding of the company’s objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Convert abstract design requirements into original and creative layouts
- Conceptualize, design, and implement beautiful and on-brand visual solutions for all aspects of online and print
- Boast a keen understanding of type, color, illustration and photography
- Design logos and brand guidelines, print stationery, collateral (flyers, brochures, etc)
- Design websites, web banners, emailers, print adverts
- Design outdoor and vehicle signage
- Photoshop images as per social media specifications for posts
- Review designs and proofread text before printing or publishing them
- Deliver excellent results even when faced with multiple deadlines and quick turnarounds
- Research the latest design trends
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in graphic design; Branding and agency experience is a plus
- Degree in graphic design
- Relevant design experience, including e-commerce, print, packaging, signage and email marketing campaigns
- Ability to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements independently
- Demonstrate strong visual, written, and oral communication skills to execute project briefs. Arabic is a plus
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Fluency in best practices for web-based graphics, icon design, layout composition and illustration
- A strong eye for layout, colour and typography
- Must be able to collaborate with a variety of talents and personalities
- Must be a team player who is able to equally contribute and listen to others
- Must have an interest in the latest design trends, technology and social media
- Excellent at managing numerous projects simultaneously while still keeping strong attention to detail
- A portfolio that communicates a range of successful design solutions
