Job Description

Responsibilities and Obligations:

- Develops design and artwork according to corporate standards for hotel collateral and advertisement.
- Provides technical support to the Director of Digital Marketing/ Marketing Manager in regards to designs of all collateral and advertisement.
- Photo editing using Adobe creative cloud and other image editing software
- Conducts photoshoots as required
- Works with the Marketing Manager to ensure brand compliance of all branded collaterals
- Coordinates with vendors and external suppliers in the production and implementation of marketing collaterals
- Abides by the Heartist Handbook.
- Abides by the hotels policies and procedures
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests' and employees' health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
- Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures

Promotions and events:

- Supports all departments in the organization and the promotion of special offers and seasonal promotions.
- Assists in the Planning and organizes events in the hotel in collaboration with all concerned departments.

Advertising :

- Supports the Public Relations Officer with the preparation of all visuals and other materials required for the advertising campaigns.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

- Fluency in current graphic design practices and web production software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, After Effects, Dreamweaver and Flash), MS Office, Coral Draw, knowledge in Acrobat.
- Strong technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design such as HTML, Flash, CSS and AJAX.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of printing processes and specifications for both digital and print mediums.
- Strong design style, including creative design solutions within the constraints of the Internet. Familiarity with current design trends and the ability to adapt designs to suit evolving market demands.
- Good project management skills.
- To pay strong attention to detail.
- Being an innovative and strategic thinker.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Degree in Graphic Design and/or proven experience in similar role.
- Prior experience in Hospitality will offer a definite advantage.
- Understanding of luxury environment.
- Great written, spoken and ready proficiency in English. Knowledge in Arabic and will be an added advantage
