Graphic Designer - VM

Job description / Role

POSITION OBJECTIVE

This job holder will be responsible for translating and transferring of ideas / concepts / designs into in-store communication artworks for stores, window displays, mall displays, etc;. Developing effective & distinct visual designs & layouts for signages & promotions.

DO - Key Responsibilities

Creative Solutions

- Understand the visual merchandising and business needs

- Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts

- Innovate ideas / themes in graphical form for various requirements coming from the visual merchandising team

- Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy

- Create graphics and layouts for promotion danglers, display & product signage, etc

- Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed

- Design proposals and artwork for window kits, guidelines, promotions and training material

Miscellaneous

- Research and keep abreast of the latest designs and graphic flows

- Coordinate and assist in the execution of large format printing including colour and profile management

- Oversee the printing needs

- Maintain large format printers (if applicable)

- Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools and technologies in Graphic Design
