Job description / Role
Our client, a global logistics company operating in Dubai is looking for Group Finance Manager.
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure timely and complete consolidated monthly and quarterly reporting.
* Support finance teams within the Group and be the point of contact with the Regional Finance team's for any accounting matters.
* Manage the periodic audit process for all entities within the Group, as well as ensuring compliance with tax, legal and regulatory requirements as required by Group.
* Maintain internal control environment aimed towards strict compliance with IFRS, statutory accounting rules
* Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects upon request from Regional Finance Director including due diligence and compliance reviews, as well as to support with the standardisation of accounting practices across the Group.
* Establish central Treasury governance and minimize Foreign Exchange exposure, as well as Cash management including cash forecasts and support role with management of working capital.
* Support budget / forecast planning for the group.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor Degree and Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with more than 7+ years of post qualification experience
* Exposure to all aspects of the Finance function, including accounting, financial analysis, consolidation and management/statutory reporting.
* Expert knowledge of financial accounting with strong knowledge of (IFRS).
* Previous experience of working for an Accountancy Big 4 Organization.
