Job description / Role
We are inviting French speakers to apply to this temporary role, a 6 month contract to cover maternity.
Candidates must be available to join immediately – with no notice period.
Reporting to the Head of Finance.
The business operates in Africa. Candidates who have experience of working in Africa will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements
• Prepare monthly management accounts for Board
• Cashflow forecasting
• Variance Analysis
• Design and optimize the accounting and financial processes for all entities
• Ensure smooth payments to suppliers
• Improve IFRS reporting
• Adhere to internal controls
• Responsible for annual and quarterly consolidations
• Transfer pricing
• Manage small team
Salary:
AED
27,000 to 30,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements
• Able to join immediately
• Living in Dubai already
• Experience of working in a group role is essential
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent with at least 6 years PQE
• Experience in managing teams of at least two direct reports and proven experience of functional remote management
• Career to date must be in well-known MNCs
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS, OHADA and UK GAAP
• Advanced working knowledge of ERP systems- SAGE Accpac a plus
• Knowledge of SAP FC (Magnitude) and IBM Cognos preferred
• Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
• Analytical Skills including Ratio Analysis
• Language: English & French, with Arabic a plus
