Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Thereafter, within the HR structure you will perform the role commensurate with your position which will include, but not be limited to:

• Periodic review and update of Group HR policies to reflect best global HR practice
• Coordinate and supervise the efforts of the various HR officers of the Group to ensure that the overall Group policy is adhered to.
• Ensure recruitment policies are in place to ensure that the best choice is available to the Group team for the position to be filled.
• Institute a system of staff assessment that is fair and practical.
• Institute steps to retain good talent in the group.
• Reduce staff turnover.
• Provide advice to General Managers on HR practices related to their industry that will improve cost effectiveness & productivity.
• Work closely with the other group corporate departments
• Meeting/communicating periodically with the Management to updates on Group HR matters and developments.
• Carry out periodic visits to the Group Company offices.
• Circulate Quarterly, Bi-AnnuaI and Annual Reports pertaining to Key Parameters including but not limited to Employee Productivity, Employee Engagement, Training and Development, Recruitment, Attrition, Cost Control etc. to the Top Management
• Establish and institutionalize a systematic meeting and feedback/review mechanism with the Group Company Heads and General Managers.
• An annual budget plan would be prepared by to reflect, inter alia, your strategy for the following year towards achieving these objectives.

Requirements

Requirements:
• UAE Nationals if preferred
• Degree in Human Resources or related field & Certifications
• 5 years minimum working experience in a similar role in a large organization
• Effective leadership, communication, interpersonal & organizational skills
• In-depth knowledge of UAE Labor Law & HR best practices
• Effective interpersonal relationships at all levels of the Company
• Knowledge of HR system and data base
• Demonstrate experience with Human Resources tools & UAE Nationalization Programs.
