Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Synopsis <br><br>The GSE Technician reports to Store Supervisor and ensures compliance to regulatory and company requirements.<br><br>Accountabilities <br><br>- Controls all GSE and vehicles and makes sure all are in serviceable condition. <br> - Ensures the weekly checks of cars and GSE are correctly done by the shifts. <br> - Ensures all GSE is maintained according to the maintenance schedule. <br> - Maintains an up-to-date inventory list of all GSE. <br> - Carries out work in compliance with company, health / safety and airport procedures and regulations. <br> - Keeps control of airport passes and permits of vehicles. <br> - Performs all duties allocated to him by the store supervisor <br> - Service Order creation for work required (Vehicles and Equipment) <br> - Post maintenance/repair inspection of Vehicles and GSE <br> - Process quotes and follow up LPO's for repairs including fuel card application and collection <br> - Performs weekly & monthly inventory checks in accordance with company policy and procedures. <br><br>Education & Experience <br><br>- Experience: Strong AMOS background preferred with strong communication skills; minimum 2 years of airline/ MRO experience preferred. <br> - Must be able to work nights and weekends, work under stress and be able to communicate perfectly in English. <br> - Education: High school leaving certificate/ Diploma is preferred with background in aircraft engineering studies.<br><br>About Etihad Airways <br> <br>Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, was formed in 2003 and quickly went on to become one of the world's leading airlines.
