Employment: Full Time

The Guest Relations Agent is primarily responsible for ensuring we provide the highest level of guest service to all our guests. The Guest Relations Agent will greet arriving guests, settle their accounts, and offer assistance throughout the duration of their stay.

Hotel Overview:

Located on the east coast of the United Arab Emirates with sweeping views of the Gulf known for its natural beauty set against the backdrop of the historic Hajar Mountains. The hotel consists of 180 rooms and residences, along with a marina and beach club.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Guest Relations Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Consistently offers professional, engaging, thoughtful, caring and sincere service . Provides a warm welcome and assists guests' according to Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Brand Standard. Remains observant and responds to each Guest who approaches the Reception Desk. Is an ambassador of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts by providing an excellent first impression. Maintains a perpetual presence on the Reception Desk throughout the hours of the shift. Greets all Guests courteously, using the Guest's name whenever possible. Follows Hotel's telephone etiquette standards. Enrolls new Fairmont President's club members and updates certificate maintenance when applicable. Drives Rate & RevPAR through up-selling room brand. Adheres to and promotes the company's Health & safety policies to ensure a safe work environment and knowledgeable all safety & emergency procedures. And other tasks assigned by the superior.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Previous customer related experience preferred. Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset. Must be able to type 25 words per minute . Must possess a professional presentation. Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities. Highly responsible & reliable. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

Constant standing and walking throughout shift
