Job description / Role
We are seeking to hire a Head Chef (western expat) for a NEW American Dinner concept, who will be required to have had previous relevant experience at a similar concept. Is able to manage both back and front of house operations and support in the development of the menu for the outlet, which will be located in Dubai.
Key responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen
- Liaising with purchasing companies for food orders
- Maintaining or raising the profit margins on food
- Producing menus and new dishes
- Managing, training and recruiting a brigade of chefs
Requirements
You will need good leadership skills. You will need to work quickly and calmly when under pressure. You will also need to control a budget. If you are interested in food and you can lead a team in an organized way, this job could be perfect for you.
