Head - Data Analytics

Job description / Role

We are looking for a Head of Analytics that uses a data-driven approach for generating insights that will translate directly to business growth. As a data-loving leader of the team, you will serve as an analytics expert and use numbers to help the company's leadership make better decisions.

Location - Abu Dhabi

Job Responsibilities:

- Work with product leadership, to device the roadmap of Swoo
- Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights and actionable at scale, solving for the entire company's analytical needs
- Lead the team of analysts and hold responsibility to chart the career path of the team.
- Drive the maintenance and upgradation of an end-to-end Analytics Platforms that connects data systems and business intelligence (BI) systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand their business needs, formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables and presentations

Requirements

Requirements

- 10+ in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science or other Quantitative fields
- Experienced in analytics at a tech / tier one consulting company
- Extensive experience framing business questions and using new age data analysis techniques (SQL, Tableau, Data Studio) to translate results from analysis into business recommendations
- Ability to consistently deliver quality outputs in a fast-paced environment, while working with tight deadlines
- 5+ years using one of the following programming languages: Python, R, Matlab, Java
- Experienced in machine learning
- Experience with SQL, statistical software packages and data visualization
- Extremely well-organized and capable of handling multiple projects and ad-hoc requests simultaneously
- Experience in analytics of of social networks and consumer apps, video analytics is preferred
