Job Purpose

The job role is pivotal in ensuring Dubai Airports is a world leading business enabled through the latest Data, Business Intelligence, Integration and Sensing Technologies as well as being aligned with the overall Smart Dubai Strategy. This role will lead a team accountable for designing and developing products, systems and services for Integration and Shared Services whilst ensuring that existing production services operate at the required service levels.

The role will be accountable for scouting the industry for the latest technologies, building strong partnerships with specialist suppliers and acting as a trusted advisor to Internal and External stakeholders in this field.

Requirements

• Degree level or minimum of Bachelor's degree holder preferably in a technical or scientific field
• PMBOK, PMP, Prince2, ITILv3 Foundation qualifications would be preferable
• Experience
• You should have 8 to 10 years of experience of delivering Integration solutions, such as API platforms, BPM, ESB, ETL and similar middleware SOA tools, tools in both B2B and B2C configurations.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience working with IoT, Big Data Analytics Technologies, Business Analytics and Visualization Technologies.
• Minimum 8 -10 years working for a major Airline, Airport, Logistics or Transportation Organization.
• An experienced leader and team player capable of building good relationships leading to trust and commitment, who must also be an excellent communicator and listener, interfacing with staff and external customers at all levels.
• You should have proven experience of successfully implementing Integration and Shared Services IT programmes (c. AED5m) within UAE private and government entities.
• Capable of presenting complex information in a simplified manner to Technology and Business leaders.
• Working with senior and executive leadership across the business and in partner organizations to drive overall business improvement, process streamlining and technological advances while identifying commercial opportunities.

Knowledge
• Defining and implementing Enterprise Data Strategies
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, IoT and Sensing Technologies
• Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, API and integration solutions, SOA middleware, data capture, data lakes/warehouses, reporting, dashboarding, visualisation and real-time analytics tools is essential
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Implementation and operating knowledge of ITILv3 and ISO20000 is preferable
• Knowledgeable in governing large and complex IT projects with a high level of integration
• Knowledge of Dubai Smart Government and related systems is preferable
