Job description / Role
Our client is a leading engineering consultancy who have an excellent reputation in the UAE and a track record of working on some of the most high profile projects. They are currently looking to recruit a head of architecture.
Based in Sharjah but with regular travel to their other UAE offices the role will be responsible for:
- Conceptual and preliminary designs for projects including hotels, residential, commercial and high rise office buildings. Included in this is feasibility studies, presentation reports and drawings, managing the concept designs.
- Managing the architectural design from conceptual stage to detailed stage.
- Feasibility studies, conceptual and preliminary designs.
- Managing the architectural design team.
Requirements
Candidates must have a degree in Architecture and will will be accredited by a recognised international institute. Candidates must have at least 25 years experience in architectural design including in the GCC region with extended experience in the field of conceptual design.
Candidates must also have experience in space programming, design and fee proposal, competition and feasibility studies. Candidates must have managerial experience including supervision of presentation drawings, design reports and space programs for a variety of building projects.
