Key Purpose:

Lead, manage, and elevate the school's computing curriculum to resonate with our vision of nurturing innovative, well-rounded individuals.

Responsibilities:
- Craft a compelling vision for the computing Department that aligns seamlessly with our school's ethos.
- Guide, oversee, and refine the school's computing curriculum.
- Contribute actively to school-wide planning, resource allocation, and policy enhancement.
- Uphold high standards and expectations across all areas of school life.
- Provide invaluable support in the day-to-day organization and administration of the school.
- Collaborate closely with the Teaching and Learning Coach and the Principal/CEO, ensuring accountability.
- Contribute meaningfully to the school's Performance Management program.

- Student Development: Cultivate a nurturing environment that fosters student well-being and growth.
- Teaching and Learning Leadership: Strategically drive curriculum delivery and assessment practices.
- Team Management: Empower and nurture the professional development of our esteemed computing department staff.
- Resource Management: Oversee the effective utilization of resources to optimize learning outcomes.
- Promotion and Representation: Champion the computing department's endeavors both within our school and across the wider community.

Requirements

Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in computing education and leadership roles.
- Possession of a relevant teaching degree coupled with a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience.
- Proficiency in curriculum development and assessment methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a positive learning atmosphere and cultivate student engagement.
- Collaborative spirit and a steadfast commitment to continual growth and improvement.
