PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


- Responsible for leading Bilingual Content Creation teams within a dynamic and competitive environment
- Define a strategy for how content production will support Souq.com business goals. Refine and evolve that strategy based on market data.
- Develop standards and best practices for creation, management, maintenance, and governance of content, overseeing editorial processes in an agile/Lean UX environment.
- Establish and maintain a workflow for requesting, creating, publishing, evaluating, and retiring content.
- Represent content creation at a senior level, collaborating with senior team members in UX, design, marketing, public relations, customer service, IT, and human resources.
- Supervise and manage a team of bilingual writers and content officers.
- Measure and evaluate content production quality on an ongoing basis and use research and data to ensure its effectiveness in global markets.
- Minimize rejection rates and duplicates.
- Help drive the development of a content management system and related tools for collaborating with team members.
- Continually seek operations process improvements to drive quality, efficiency, and profitability.
- Direct interactive agency marketing and media campaigns to meet business performance objectives
- Develop an online marketing strategy to drive e-Commerce initiatives through all web properties that will drive traffic, conversion, generate leads and revenue.
- Identify and consistently improve KPI's and revenue growth opportunities.
- Build the website branding in alignment with the Marketing strategy and guidelines.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree + 10 years or equivalent experience in Design or Web Management function
- Experience in leading Content strategy from an e commerce background
- Proven track record of managing planning and executing successful lead generation and customer acquisition campaigns via direct marketing vehicles.
- Experience in launching and managing websites
- Agency and/or 3rd party management
