Job description / Role
On behalf of our client, a luxury furniture / luxury interior design showroom, our client is looking for a Head of Design for their prominent store in Dubai.
Reporting directly to the Partner, you will be responsible for leading the various teams in the successful growing of the business and managing various projects related to their high-end furniture, accessories, kitchens, etc.
In this important role, you main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Leading the design team, ensuring design projects are completed
- Interior design / designing the showroom
- Selections of new furniture pieces and products
- Managing professional relationships with stakeholders
- Staying up to date with new market trends, designs, etc.
Requirements
- Degree in Interior Design
- 5+ years of professional experience with luxury / high-end furniture products
- Good contacts and experience in dealing with suppliers
- Excellent knowledge of design, trends, fabrics, merchandising, etc.
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic
In this role, you will be an ambassador for the brand - you must be presentable and comfortable, with excellent communication skills. This role comes with a high level of responsibility and management tasks.
