Head of FI - Bangladesh
Our client, a highly reputable bank based in the UAE is looking to add to their team a senior FI professional to cover Bangladesh. The role would require frequent travel between the UAE and Bangladesh.

Description
* Leading the organisation's business growth in Bangladesh across all product lines
* Contributing to the Bank's product development in areas of Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, Corporate Finance based on requirements of the Bangladeshi market
* Originating new sales and relationship opportunities pro-actively and independently across FIs
* Originating club deals/syndicated transactions to Financial Institutions and raising the Bank's profile in the market
* Adding in-depth knowledge & extensive business relationships of/ from the Bangladeshi market
* Fulfilling and stretching the existing FI bank/country limit for Bangladesh
* Ability to live in Dubai, UAE and/ or Dhaka, Bangladesh is a must

Requirements
* Minimum 10-15 years of professional experience, preferably in financial institutions
* Minimum 3 years on-the-ground experience in Bangladesh with strong FI relationships
* Exposure to FI business, Trade Finance sales and Transaction Banking services
* Fluency in English and Bengali along with excellent communication skills
* Ability to frequently travel
* Be extremely hands-on, detail oriented, with strong problem solving, project management and risk analysis skills
* Will be able to work autonomously, and as part of a team
