Head of HR - UAE
EMR is an emerging markets foremost provider of recruitment solutions specialised in most industrial segments and key functions. We are currently working with a leading firm looking for a Head of HR to be based in UAE.
Our client is in need of Head of HR to be part of a growing team of HR professionals in the UAE. The candidate will provide leadership and guidance to all HR matters within Middle East, Africa, Turkey and India as well as working closely with regional leadership to translate business strategies into achievable HR objectives with strong focus on talent acquisition, talent management and mid to long term succession planning. The candidate will also engage with senior leaders on a strategic level whilst retaining the oversight role on HR operational matters.
Responsibilities would include:
- Setting up policies and procedures for the HR function
- Developing recruitment strategies and be involved with recruitment of all staff from store personnel to senior management
- Initiating training and development programs for all staff at all levels
- Designing employee incentive schemes, bonus schemes and benefits policies
- Processing payroll and ensuring effective reporting of staff figures
- Designing and developing company culture and values including employer branding
- Creating job descriptions and measurable KPIs to initiate an effective performance management system
Requirements
- Experience in recruitment, training and performance management of store staff
- 6 to 8 years of HR experience with the last 3 years in management position
- RETAIL background preferred
- Experience in setting up an HR function with no additional HR personnel support
- Ideally candidates will be based in Dubai, UAE or willing to relocate to the city
