Head of Investor Relations

Job description / Role

Our client, a leading bank here in the region, are looking to hire an Arabic speaking Head of Investor Relations to join their team. Responsible for ensuring the bank is appropriately and strategically positioned with analysts, investors, and all stakeholders this role is key in driving the corporate message of the group.

Job responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop investor confidence and belief in the company’s vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value
- Responsible for delivering a robust investor relations strategy
- Provide analysis and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder dynamics and sentiment.
- Ensure that the bank maintains a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties.
- Management of equity research and investor relationships.

Requirements

- Candidates must have at least 10 years of relevant experience for this role.
- Fluency in Arabic is essential for this role.
- Candidates must hold a minimum of a bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance or accounting
- Experience working with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters
- Strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics and costumer trends.
- Candidates must have experience within the banking or financial services industry.
