Client Details
Diversified group of companies seeking someone to head up the technology department for their finance vertical.

Description
* Lead the development, deployment and monitor all aspects related to the IT strategy and delivery across group.
* Establish and promote the vision for IT to support transformation and innovation within F.
* Lead the development of the IT strategy and budget and ensure the strategy supports the business objectives including ongoing development in response to the fast-changing business environment.
* Direct the advancement of the exploitation of IT through innovation. Work with partners such as
* Lead on IT strategic sourcing and procurement.
* Take overall responsibility for the portfolio of programmes delivering the IT strategy.
* Lead on the co-ordination of IT activity within, actively prioritizing competing programmes

Requirements

Skillset (job specific technical skills and behavioral competencies needed)

* At least 5-10 years' experience in the IT, Operations, Banking or related industry.
* Experience of delivering IT and Operations strategy/delivery is essential, across multiple organizations is desirable.
* Experience of procuring and managing large and complex outcome-based IT and Operations contracts with interdependencies.
* Experience of joint procurement, market testing and outsourcing as well as negotiating quality, cost-effective services.
* Experience of working with a senior management team to develop a business focused information security strategies that will effectively support their business needs.
* Experience of successfully implementing an IT and Operations strategy through business planning.
* Evidence of delivering high quality, customer focused services.
* Understanding of the issues relating to effective service delivery at a time of budgetary constraints.
* Experience of contributing to the development and implementation of effective management information systems that aid the decision-making process.
* Experience of working in partnership with others, internal and external to the organization, to deliver an effective IT and Operations function.
* Evidence of contribution to major transformation and building teams at a time of change.
* Experience of shared services and/or enabling IT and Operations services to be delivered to multiple organizations.
