Head of Procurement & Contracts (Emiratisation)

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a highly regarded and established private government company. Our client is looking to hire a Head of Procurement and Contracts (UAE National) to join their team in Dubai.

The Head of Procurement will develop and implement procurement strategies, identify potential suppliers, negotiate and draft contracts and oversee the contract lifecycle whilst continuously reviewing procurement processes and managing budgets. This role will mitigate any risk associated with procurement activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and relevant laws.

In addition, this role will also liaise with stakeholders and senior management and address any conflicts or disputes with vendors. The Head of Procurement will be responsible for managing and guiding the procurement team.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate should have a Degree, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience. Experience of working with a government entity would be highly desirable. This role is for UAE Nationals.
