Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Project Delivery to oversee the successful execution of our portfolio of mega projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project and construction management, with extensive experience working with Project Management Consultancies (PMCs) in the GCC region. They must have led large project teams across various disciplines, including project management, construction management, design, cost control, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the successful delivery of multi-billion-dollar mega projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
• Project Management Leadership: Lead a large project delivery team, including project managers, engineers, designers, and other professionals, to effectively manage all aspects of project execution, from initiation to closeout.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication to meet project requirements and exceed expectations.
• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor, motivate, and empower project team members, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration and coordination among various disciplines within the project team, including project management, construction management, design, cost control, and others, to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with project delivery and develop proactive mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and adhere to industry standards and best practices.
• Budget and Cost Control: Oversee project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
• Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and identify opportunities to optimize project timelines and accelerate project delivery.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, standards, and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in project and construction management, with a focus on large-scale projects in the GCC region.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering mega ojects in a leadership role within Project Management Consultancies (PMCs).
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading large project teams across various disciplines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, construction techniques, and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, standards, and best practices in the UAE and GCC region.
