Head of Treasury

Job description / Role

Cash Management:
• Develop and implement strategies for efficient cash management and liquidity optimization.
• Monitor daily cash balances and forecast short-term and long-term cash needs.

Risk Management:
• Identify and assess financial risks related to currency, interest rates, and market conditions.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies and hedge where appropriate.

Bank Relationship Management:
• Manage relationships with financial institutions, negotiating terms and optimizing banking services.
• Evaluate and select banking partners based on cost-effectiveness and service quality.

Investment Management:
• Oversee the investment of excess cash, ensuring compliance with investment policies.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and recommend strategies to maximize returns.

Debt Management:
• Develop and execute strategies for debt financing, including negotiations and structuring.
• Monitor and manage existing debt obligations, ensuring compliance with covenants.

Treasury Reporting:
• Prepare regular reports on treasury activities, cash positions, and financial risk exposures.
• Provide insights and analysis to senior management for decision-making.

Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to treasury and financial operations.
• Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and advise on their impact.

Salary:
AED 13,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 6-7 years of progressive experience in treasury and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, treasury operations, and risk management.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
