Host English Teacher

Job description / Role

We are looking for English language teachers who can also host and teach an international student in their home. This would be for a period of one week or longer in Dubai.

If you are enthusiastic and passionate about teaching, have a spare room to offer a student, have a native speaker level of competence ideally with a teaching qualification and/or a university degree and you love sharing your daily life, we are looking for you. You would also need to provide 3 meals per day and be available to spend time with your student.

We are especially busy during the school holiday months, so it could fit in well if you are a full-time teacher and are looking to earn extra income from home. Many of our students are looking for families with children who they can interact with during their stay. However, our students are of all ages from the very young to the not so young.

Our courses can start from 10 hours per week home language tuition, with activities and cultural excursions in addition.

Salary:
USD 850 to 1,200 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Weekly rate above-freelance

Requirements

• Two years' experience teaching, ideally English as a foreign language.
• Educated to degree level, or relevant teaching qualification.
• Also accepted are TEFL, CELTA certificates.
• Personal qualities: enthusiastic, caring, thoughtful and responsible.
