Hostess

Job description / Role

• Follow the company policies as outlined in the Employee handbook and Hostess Training Manual.
• Maintain positive attendance record, report to duty always prior to your shift.
• Follow the company’s standard operating procedure and all sanitation.
• Always smile and greet the guests upon seeing them before they greet you.
• Control the pace of the restaurant by seating tables accordingly.
• Equally distribute clients and tables among waiters. Always provide the best table in the house available.
• Always be presentable. Follow the grooming standards as described in the training manual. Remember you are the first one the guest will find in the restaurant and first impressions lasts forever.
• Maintain a clean surrounding of the Hostess Desk at all the times.
• Be updated with daily specials and have enough knowledge about the surrounding location and local information.
• Try to socialize with waiting guests (if they seem approachable)
• Perform side work duties assigned.
• Maintain the general cleanliness of the restaurant.
• Bid farewell to all the guests leaving and invite them to come back.

Requirements

• Education Qualifications: High school degree
• Nature and length of previous experience: 2 years experience in F&B
• Soft Skills and Personality traits: Good communication skills
• Language Fluency: English
• Current Location: UAE
