Employment: Full Time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• To report for duty on time in correct and clean uniform.
• Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area, escort them to the tables and present menus.
• Inform Guest of current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.
• Manage the flow of Guests into the Dining and bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if there is a wait list.
• Tend to special Guest needs and requests.
• Observant to Guests’ needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service.
• Help servers by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages.
• Cleaning and set-up of the host stand/desk.
• Handling guest complains and resolving the same with complete guest satisfaction.
• Operating POS systems.
• Order taking skills.
• Performing daily side work and section clean up duties.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures at all the times.
• To refer guest complaints directly to the immediate Supervisor.
• To know all menus and ongoing promotions in the outlet by heart and can recommend if a guest requests.
• To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.
• Ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above.
