Job Description:

As a Hostess at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting Guests: Welcome guests upon their arrival and ensure a positive first impression.
• Reservation Management: Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of available space.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Seating Guests: Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and assist in seating arrangements according to the reservation and seating plan.
• Communication: Collaborate with the waitstaff, kitchen, and management to coordinate efficient and smooth operations.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and dining section.
• Assisting with Events: During events or busy periods, assist in organizing and coordinating special functions.
• Up-selling: Promote special offers, menu items, or promotions to increase revenue.
• Knowledge of the Establishment: Stay informed about the restaurant's menu, specials, and events to provide accurate information to guests.
• Handling Reservations: Manage phone and online reservations, confirm bookings, and maintain an organized reservation system.
• Adhering to Policies: Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to customer service and hospitality.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training, certificates, or degrees in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
