Hotel General Manager

Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and achieving financial objectives. This role involves leadership, strategic planning, and effective management to uphold the standards of the hotel and enhance its reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day operations to meet or exceed guest expectations.
- Maintain a high standard of guest services, anticipating and responding to guest needs.
- Implement and uphold quality standards to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Develop and manage the hotel budget in collaboration with the finance department.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Maximize revenue through effective pricing and yield management strategies.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team.
- Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive work environment and ensure effective communication within the team.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive business and revenue.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to attract new guests and retain existing clientele.
- Participate in sales activities and events to promote the hotel.
- Maintain and improve quality standards for services and facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Implement and enforce safety and security measures to protect guests and employees.
- Collaborate with relevant authorities and agencies to maintain legal and licensing requirements
- Contribute to the development and execution of the hotel's strategic plan.
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics.

Salary:
AED 7,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hotel management, with a track record of success.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and technology.
- Knowledge of the UAE hospitality industry and market trends.
