Household Manager

Job description / Role

On behalf of our prestigious client we are hiring an experienced Household Manager to take over core responsibility of the running of property in the UAE. This will include managing the maintenance and any interior design/ refurbishment requests, staff management, full hiring responsibility and private event management.

We are seeking an individual with a proven track record of working within the hospitality industry and who understands the housekeeping and banquet / event functions. Ideally you will have worked for a luxury five-star property and supported the needs. Candidates who have also worked in the UHNW boutique hotel environment, or who have considerable household management experience will be considered at an advantage. Service standards will be at a premium, and you will report to the Chief of Staff who resides overseas in the primary property.

Requirements

The role will be the interface between the Principal, and the staff, organising everything for and on behalf of the Principle and the individual will be expected to have strong managerial and reporting qualities. The Household Manager will write comprehensive reports on suppliers, accounts and reconciliation of event expenses, staff appraisals and periodic reviews, as well as be expected to add value in terms of cost saving and ensuring the property is run efficiently.
