Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Acts as the first point of contact of employees and management in the business unit.
• Ensures effective implementation of organizational planning and development, employment, orientation and training, employee relations, compensation, benefits and employee services, and Human Resources information systems (HRIS).
• Oversees adherence to Human Resources budget and implemented policies.
• Assists and advises senior management on Human Resources issues.
• Works collaboratively throughout organization to optimize and execute long-term business strategy.
• Identifies all legal and government regulations that affect the Human Resources function, monitors exposure and oversees compliance.
• Working with the recruitment team, actively support the recruitment for all role levels within the functions, to ensure a consistent level of high caliber candidates are recruited for the right roles at the right time
• Actively coach and participate in all employee relations issues within the functions, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and appeals, providing clear operational HR advice and guidance and active involvement as required
• Work closely with the Line Managers to review employee productivity taking accountability for supporting the functions to ensure the effective management of resources, managing level of absence and attendance etc.
• Close management of headcount and employment costs within the region providing monthly data to support with company forecasts
• Work with line managers to deliver on-boarding plans for all new starters and ensure that all new starters had a mid and end of probation review
• Conduct exit interviews for all leavers to support the development of regional analysis on attrition levels and trends, identify areas of concern and take proactive steps to reduce attrition
• Support the business to deliver culture and organizational change programs
• Actively participate within ad hoc projects throughout the year
• Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant legislation, implementing new or changed policies and procedures to ensure that the company meets its employment law requirements and regulations

Requirements

• At least 3 to 4 years of experience in Human in blue collar environment mandatory.
• Should have Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or diploma in HR Management
• Strong Knowledge of UAE Labor Law
• Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, benefits, payroll, HRIS and training and development. Well-developed administrative skills. Strong management skills.
