HR Generalist

Job description / Role

HR Generalist is responsible for managing all the HR operations and supporting the HRBP in providing comprehensive HR service that covers payroll management, employee relations, Recruitment, and compensation & benefits Support. This role also coordinates the implementation of HR projects, services and policies.

- Processes payroll as per set company policy and Labour Law in efficient manner and adhering to monthly cut-off dates.
- Execute & monitor controls related to payroll processes.
- Manages employee leaves/ absence records as per company policies in the system.
- Processes the End of Service Benefits/ settlements in compliance with UAE Labour Law for all separating employees.
- Prepares all Month End payroll reports (Eg: Payroll Summary, HFM Headcount reporting, Manpower Costing, etc.) in accurate & timely manner.
- Coordinates with Insurance broker and finance department during invoicing & payments.
- Ensures that all employee grievances are addressed in fair and consistently in line with company polices & UAE Labour Law and escalate any critical cases to HRBP/ HR Director, if necessary.
- Handles internal/ external audits pertaining to payroll, time & attendance and training documentation.
- Works closely with department heads and managers to fulfil all the staffing needs both at staff and worker level.
- Handles all stages of recruitment including sourcing, screening, hiring process & conduct competency based interviews.
- Carries out induction/ orientation programs for all new joiners.
- Provides support and assistance on a number of HR related projects.
- Provides an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their benefits and entitlements.

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Equivalent.
- MBA in HR will be an added advantage.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and to work independently
- Ability to make informed and independent decisions, escalating and collaborating as needed
- Must have good communication skills (both verbal & written).
- Adaptable and Flexible
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Excellent team player with positive attitude.
