Job description / Role
This is a lovely role based in the head offices of this award winning Spa brand. The company has been in operation since 2004 and now boasts several branches across the UAE. They are extremely passionate about the brand and this is reflected in the high quality products and services they provide.
The role of HR Manager reports into the owner who is extremely hands on and also the Director of Operations. We are looking for a nurturing and caring individual who will work closely with the above and liaise with the Spa Supervisors and take responsibility for overseeing around 85 staff.
Around 40 percent of the role is recruitment focused and will involve dealing with recruitment agencies in the region and in the Far East, interviewing face to face and via Skype and managing the administration process around the hires.
The incumbent must have a good understanding of the labour law, banning procedures etc.
A driving license is a must as the HR Manager will be required to visit the five Dubai based spas on a regular basis and the Abu Dhabi branch on occasion. Additionally, the role is responsible for implementing HR processes and procedures in line with the UAE labour law, as well as creating ongoing incentive, rewards and initiatives in order to encourage new staff retention and reduce staff turnover.
We are looking for an individual who has a minimum of five years experience within a senior Human Resources Management role with knowledge of the UAE labour law and multiple human resource disciplines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are incredibly important as you will be dealing with a wide range of individuals from the Far East who are far from home. You must have the ability to motivate teams to produce a top quality service and simultaneously manage several projects.
Working hours are 9-6, five day week.
