HR Manager

Job description / Role

A new opportunity has arisen from a well-known oil/gas company based in Abu Dhabi. They are currently looking for an HR Manager. The job holder will have the following responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise the work of the human resource staff
• Manpower Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting.
• Ensure all the Legal Compliances related to HR are up to date at Office & stores.
• Ensure timely and correct salary payouts in liaison with Finance teams
• Timely amendments and ensuring adherence to the HR Policies.
• Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
• Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Onboarding procedure, succession planning, job grading
• Provides clarity of role/ JDs and KPIs.
• Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
• Maintains competitive reward and incentive structure
• Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
• Supervise performance management reviews
• Address the cultural transformation of the company
• Mediate disputes between employees and direct disciplinary procedures
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field
• With more than 8 years of relevant experience in Human Resources
• Must have experience in setting up the HR department
• Has experience in writing policies and procedures
• Strong knowledge of the UAE labor law
