Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To lead one of the teams (On-Boarding) in Employee Services (ES) and to act as delegate to the leader of the other team (HR Operations). In additional to functional responsibilities as the leader of the On-Boarding team, the incumbent is also required to be a business partner (BP) for all ES services for a number of Groups in the Bank.

On-Boarding
Overall responsibility for managing a team responsible for the on-boarding of new hires (on boarding being defined as period between acceptance of an offer of employment by a candidate to the end of the probation period) and ensuring the highest level of experience for new joiners. Ensuring alignment with other HR teams (e.g. those responsible for recruitment, induction training and securing visas) and constant communication and follow up with the Groups within the Bank that the new candidates will join. Training, coaching and leading the team, and establishing processes, to ensure that ADCBs on-boarding experience becomes a benchmark of operational excellence.

Off-Boarding
Overall responsibility for managing the team responsible for off-boarding employees and extending the same level of services to off-boarding (e.g. exit formalities, exit interviews etc, counselling etc.) Able to manage, and constantly upgrade, the process of exit interviews, to maintain MIS, to analyse turnover trends and to work with peers in the HR Group and elsewhere in the Bank accordingly

Delegate Team Leader, HR Operations
In the absence of Team Leader, HR Operations, to have acting responsibility for benefits management (medical insurance, leaves, pensions etc.), HR Help Desk and employee files and MIS management.

Business Partner, Employee Services
To act as the primary point-of-contact for 50% of the Groups in the Bank for all ES-related services. To work with Group heads and their management teams.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree
- Minimum five years experience handling high levels of multinational hiring and turnover in an organization with a strong market reputation for customer service and being employee-centric. Sector not necessarily in financial services (e.g. FMCG, Hospitality, Airlines etc.) Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills. Able to challenge establish norms, to innovate and to build new systems. High levels of energy. Highly empathetic and to able to see all operations through the lenses of employees. To be highly customer-focused and to demonstrate this by establish processes measured through metrics to allow success rates to be measured.
