Brief summary of position’s purpose or role – the primary objective of the role

The Health, Safety and Environment Supervisor will be the key point of contact within the assigned customer site (Project or install) contract.

The position report to Project HSE Manager or Project Manager (as applicable in Situ) with matrix reporting to Honeywell HSE local representative.

The role is required to manage all the HSE aspects of the customer site contract, assist the Project Manager (s) in delivering the HBS HSE objectives and targets, meet our customer expectations on HSE management and driving a positive OHSE culture within the team.

Job Specifications

Essential:
Proficiency in managing health and safety requirements of projects, knowledge in current HSE practices of the relevant industry, good communication and training skills, a good team player.

Requirements

Education / Qualifications
• Occupational Health and Safety Certification or Diploma from IOSH accredited institution such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
• Preferred technical education background.

Experience
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience (in a full time HSE role)
• Industry sector experience and / or qualifications: Construction industry/Oil and Gas constructions.

Professional Skills / Knowledge
• A comprehensive knowledge of occupational health safety and environmental aspects and legislative requirements.
• Proficiency in OHSE hazards identification and Risk assessments in the industry undertaking (airports).
• Training skills.
• Understanding of accident/incident investigation techniques, workplace health and safety audits.
• Proficiency in MS office softwares.
• Driver License is an added advantage not mandatory.
