Job description / Role

Hvac Design Engineer Up To 25k Aed For A Construction And Engineering Company In Dubai

- Creates and develops refrigeration and heating systems for commercial and residential facilities. Researches system ideas, conducts surveys to verify field conditions and gathers information necessary to draw up plans for developing HVAC systems schematics, layout (usually using CAD software) and documenting specifications.

Requirements

- Open to ANY nationality
- Male, 45 y/o and below
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any relevant course
- Minimum 5 years of design experience in the same industry
- Knowledge and with experience in the oil and gas, refinery and EPC projects
- Knowledgeable in mechanical HVAC design calculation related software
- Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Engineering Std. and Design practice is an added value
- Shall be well versed in ASHREA, AMCA and SMACNA as well as other related International Engineering and Construction Codes and Standards such as International Plumbing Code, International Fire Code, and International Mechanical Code
- Must have design experience with HVAC systems that comply with LEED requirements
- Must have design experience with the latest indoor air quality and BMS technologies
- Responsible preparing project’s construction documents related to Heating and Ventilation system design for commercial, institutional, residential and office facilities in accordance with SMACNA, and ASHREA codes and standards
- Assess projects, identify design requirements and prepare necessary design calculations using hand calculations and computer to run standard programs (such as Elite Software), outline design intent, requirements and objectives
- Experience in Fire Protection/Suppression system design is a plus
- Provide expert advice and assistance to design, construction, and maintenance engineers and operating personnel on all matters pertaining to the mechanical HVAC system field
- Support project on-site execution, project proposals and initiate detailed work outlines
- Make decisions to support projects and act as technical consultant when required.

- Working hours: 8 hourrs/day
- Can join immediately is preferred (max 1-month)
- Work location: Dubai, UAE
- Salary is up to 25,000 AED full package depending on qualifications and experience
