Hygiene Director - Catering

Job description / Role

Quest Search and Selection is looking for a Hygiene Director – Catering to be part of a leading Hospitality Business in the UAE. You will be responsible for inspecting the workplace to ensure that the place is safe from diseases or viruses that may contaminate the food and harm the workers and consumer.

Responsibilities:
• To ensure that the highest standards of hygiene are set consistently for all areas;
• Continuous improvement of working processes to ensure full legal compliance and moral obligations are met;
• Ensure equipment is hygienically and operationally maintained;
• To support and guide the business to make it better and to retain reputation;
• To manage the provision of hygiene chemicals and dosing equipment on site - to include regular reviews with chemical supplier, periodic chemical dosing checks, maintenance of equipment and to oversee the safe storage, decant, transport and use of chemicals on site;
• Manage and develop a team of specialist deep clean operatives.

Salary:
AED 80000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Food Technology or equivalent;
• Must have vast knowledge on General and Food Safety and Quality system international;
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the related field;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
